Chỉ tình thế nắm quyền hoặc nắm đằng chuôi, muốn xử ép, trách phạt hay quy kết người khác thế nào họ cũng phải cam chịu. Thường dùng để nói sự áp đảo, bất công của kẻ mạnh đối với kẻ yếu.

Refers to a situation in which one side holds all the power and can accuse, punish, or mistreat the other however they like, with no real resistance possible. It is used to describe the unfair domination of the strong over the weak.
